After reconstitution the practical window is measured in weeks under refrigeration, and the specifics depend on the compound and whether your diluent was bacteriostatic. Plain sterile water gives you a much shorter window than bacteriostatic water, because the preservative is the entire reason multi-dose use is reasonable at all.

What this means for record keeping is simple: the date you added water is the date you must store, and it should live with the vial rather than in your memory. Write it on the label and copy it into your log. When the log knows the reconstitution date, the question of whether a vial is still good becomes a lookup instead of a guess.

Temperature excursions deserve a line too. A cool bag that spent six hours warm on a flight is worth noting, because if response changes afterwards you will want that fact rather than a vague sense that something happened in July. I keep reconstitution date and any excursions in the same vial and dose record as the doses themselves, so nothing depends on remembering.

Freezing reconstituted solution is the common mistake worth naming explicitly: it is not a way to extend the window, and it can damage the peptide outright.
